Woman makes more money than her boyfriend of 3 years and supports him financially while he figures things out. He says she’ll be able to do the same thing when he figures things out. The pair claims societal pressure don’t dictate their relationship. 👀🤔

@GuyTalksFinance Boring works. There's multiple strategies in investing. Theres options, dividend etfs, index funds and etc. All works. Depends how far you want to stretch your risk factor.

“Index funds are boring” Yeah but I haven’t lost any money this year and that’s what’s important in a down market.

@Investmentkage Yes, well ahead of 95% of the people in your group. I know a lot of late 20s adults who havent even thought about their retirement or investing in a general sense. Keep doing what youre doing and block out the noise from others. You'll laugh when your peers have to keep working.

@JamesGKilgore @RationalMale don't give up dude, this kinda obnoxious lil Taylor swift fangirl from Jersey has told you the quiet part out loud sure - pretty boys get away with bad game AT FIRST - but looks only get a man's foot in the door. that dude approached her badly (no rapport built) so -> no date

I was talking to a group of 20-somethings discussing the "ick factor" in dating. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it means a visceral, sudden surge of cringe triggered by a specific behavior. "Women will dismiss a man if he ties his shoe wrong," said one woman. How in the world are people going to connect with such strict requirements? #mensrights

@HelenSmithPhD @Rob1855 That's why men have pretty much given up Helen. Damn if you do, and damn if you don't. Men have such a short window to convince a woman to date them that it's literally impossible. Best move is to not play at all. I tell people to prepare to die alone cause standards are too high

@Rob1855 Yes, the "icks" have been around but it is now worse and exacerbated by the internet and social power for rejection of men (and women, men do it too, but not as much).

@Rach4Patriarchy True, unfortunately...... majority women might have passed up their husband already due to the standards created amongst themselves and social media. They were warned, but they wanted life to teach them. When life teaches you, it's very blunt and doesn't care who you are.

The boss babe dream is a lie. The vast majority of women will work a mid-level job that makes $40-60K a year for the rest of their lives. Most of these women had opportunities with good dudes when they were young that they passed up not realizing what they were doing.

Nothing wrong with this but men don’t gain much from marrying financially successful women. They’re not getting that money in a divorce & the woman will still expect the man to bear most of the financial burden. The reason successful men marry women of similar status is proximity & shared experiences. Money is not an attraction trigger for men just as a guy being nice is not an attraction trigger for women.
saguaro ghost@saguaro_ghost

fellas, marrying the early 30s girlboss is actually good because odds are she has 6figs in her 401k by then. extra million for retirement right there. i’m just sayin

@anon_opin The second half of what you said is what most women dont take account when they make that decision. They were warned and told that, but they choose to ignore it. At this point, it's just funny watching it from afar lol.

As a tall dude I absolutely think women have the right to filter out men under 6ft on dating apps. But when you're dismissing over 4/5ths of all men sight unseen based on a singular physical characteristic, you should be aware I have options and won't settle for average myself.

@williambowwow @BarbellFi Indeed, it is. It was very concerning when I actually looked it up. 97% of the population will probably have to work til they die. You can avoid this outcome by investing as soon as you enter the workforce with a real profession/skill.

@venom1s Women need to understand what you said cause its true. They playing a game against themselves because those men have the same advantages. If they dont understand this quickly, they will get played over and over and over and then blame majority of men cause of the minority of men.

@KeruboSk There's consequences to every action. If you make a bad action, no one is coming to save you. You're an adult. If you prolong not having to figure it out yourself and have someone save you, you'll never learn how to be adult.

i knew a woman who ruined every single one of her relationships with her looksmatch because she had dated a man far out of her league when she was younger. she could never get the idea out of her mind that this was her true standard and she was settling and doing a favor for the “lesser” men. she would cheat with “higher” status married men to feel chosen again. many women would rather be a side chick or in a situationship with a high status man rather than date an average to below-average man. not realizing, they are also the lower-tier woman and would find much more joy and commitment with their looksmatch.

@menscoach1 That's poor communication skills. Don't want to be with that person anyways. You should just tell the person that. No one cares if you found another person, but you cant leave the other person in the blind. Tell them so they can leave you alone and go find someone else too lol.

You ever notice how fast a woman can switch up? One week she’s all over you. Next week she’s “busy,” “confused,” or “going through something.” Nothing actually changed. She just found a better option… and didn’t know how to tell you.
