With all the WSJ reports that Israel has or had a base in Iraq, I must admit I was wrong about something important.
I thought Israel was relying on the USA for contingency plans regarding lost aircrew over Iran.
I'm sure it was a joint effort, but I'm absolutely delighted to know we made every effort to be self-sufficient.
It is fantastic to partner with the USA, but it is so important to also know we can do it ourselves.
Bravo to the @IDF and the political leadership with the balls to put these plans into action.
