Had a private meeting with Nubank.
Here are my takeaways:
- Nubank won the market by banking the unbanked (29 mm people), a really clean UX, and the best customer service ( it has by far the lowest number of complaints per million of users of any bank)
The opportunity for @surfcashx :
Do what Nubank did for the unbanked but for the Banked people:
I see a normal person having access to DeFi and to a self custodial wallet, so smooth, that they don’t even know is @solana running on the back
With the best customer service and with with great access to credit
And you might think we are crazy, but @surfcashx will be soon in more countries than Nubank

Last week was amazing at São Paulo. Lot of network, have met so many great people. Even though it was my first time there, it was quite obvious to understand why it’s called the “Brazil’s Locomotive”.

🚨 Do you understand what just happened at OpenAI.. on January 26.. Sam Altman told his own employees "we are planning to dramatically slow down hiring.. we think we'll be able to do so much more with fewer people".. that was 54 days ago.. today OpenAI announced they're nearly doubling their workforce.. 4,500 to 8,000.. by end of year.. the same man telling you that AI replaces workers.. just announced hiring 3,500 more humans because AI couldn't replace his.. so either the AI isn't good enough to do the work.. or Anthropic scared them so bad they threw the whole playbook out the window.. both answers are embarrassing.. but only one of them is true.. and Sam knows which one.
