@NSTRIKE1231 What a wonderful idea to bite the hand that feeds you! Who's going to pay your bills, fund your weapons and support your refugees if the Germans lose interest in those who are conspiring against their energy infrastructure? This might backfire big time.

‼️‼️‼️🇵🇱✊ “Ukrainian soldiers and all those operating within the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including special forces, cannot be considered terrorists or saboteurs, because by defending their homeland by all available means, they are weakening the enemy. The destruction of a country’s critical infrastructure during peacetime by hostile intelligence services or terrorists is indeed sabotage and a criminal act. However, such actions by the armed forces during a just defensive war — against the critical infrastructure of an aggressor — do not constitute a crime! They are military operations and cannot be treated as criminal offenses. In other words, if Ukraine and its special services organized a mission to destroy the enemy’s gas pipeline, those actions were not illegal. They were guided by rationality and justice, which exclude criminal responsibility.” — Polish judge 🇵🇱🚫🇩🇪 The Polish court refused to extradite Ukrainian Volodymyr Zhuravlyov to Germany, where he is accused by Berlin of involvement in the Nord Stream explosions. The court ruled that the German side did not present sufficient evidence.

@tweet4Anna_NAFO If that was the case, why on earth wouldn‘t Poland start with destroying the Yamal-pipeline running right through the country which has a capacity of 33 Billion m3 year? Because it serves your own financial advantage! Absolute hypocrisy on the Polish side.

@PhilonLudvig @mmagierowski That‘s easy to answer: Poland made between 200 and 300 million USD a year in transfer fees before Nord Stream. They were quite happy to control and profit from German energy supply and started complaining when they lost that.

@mmagierowski Both Ukraine and Poland continued to import Russian oil and gas beyond the start of the war and profited from transit fees. The real question, then, is why Poland and Ukraine filled Russia's war chest while warning of the Russian threat all along.

Russia weaponized energy supplies, acting in cahoots with Germany. Waging a hybrid war against Poland and the Baltic countries. Accordingly, it was a weapon which got eliminated. Not a pipeline.

Refusing to extradite this Ukrainian man to Germany, Poland acted honorably. Legal issues aside, Nord Stream 1&2 should have never been built. It’s time to ask Berlin why it engaged in those projects. Time for straight talk.⁦ Time for straight answers. bbc.com/news/articles/…

@andrewmichta Straight talk: Poland made between 200 to 300 million a year on transit fees pumping russian gas via the Jamal-pipeline paid by German industry and citizens. Poland was itself heavily dependent on Russian gas. Nord Stream was destroyed 3 years ago and the war still goes on.

@PolskiSejm @jakubwiech Wonderful framing: ‚Europe‘s Strategic interests‘ for a greedy government that believes in their god-given right to make 200 to 300 mill USD a year in transition fees on the back of German energy supply via your Jamal-pipeline. Hypocrisy at it‘s best.

I see that a wave of criticism has arisen in Germany over the ruling of an independent Polish court in the case of Volodymyr Z. In that context, I think it’s worth asking our esteemed German neighbors: 🇩🇪When will the case of the “climate” foundation financed by Gazprom - whose main purpose was to shield Nord Stream 2 from sanctions - be addressed? 🇩🇪What about the political and civic responsibility of Gerhard Schröder, Angela Merkel, and the many other German politicians who actively supported, promoted, and protected the Nord Stream projects? And one more question: 🇩🇪When does Germany intend to stop buying gas from Russia?

Scandalous: according to Poland, if you don’t like an infrastructure in Europe, you can blow it up. With this, they gave advance permission for terrorist attacks in Europe. Poland has not only released but is celebrating a terrorist—this is what European rule of law has come to.

Here is a new Polish 🇵🇱 hero: Dariusz Łubowski is the judge who refused to extradite the Nord Stream suspect. He has been serving as a judge since 1995 and currently works at the Warsaw District Court, where he heads the section for international criminal law. His judicial career began in the years when Poland was still adapting its legal system to the European Union. For more than a decade, he was delegated to the Ministry of Justice, where he specialized in extradition law and international cooperation in criminal matters — one of the few Polish judges deeply versed in the complexities of cross-border legal procedures. Łubowski became known to the public for his independent decisions in politically sensitive cases. He refused to hand over the Belarusian opposition figure Sciapan Puciła, concluding that Belarus could not guarantee a fair trial. The Lukashenko regime retaliated by opening criminal proceedings against him — a rare case of a foreign state attempting to criminalize a Polish judge for defending the rule of law. In another case, he questioned the reliability of the Dutch justice system after an incident involving euthanasia, openly criticizing moral relativism in Western Europe. His latest ruling — refusing to extradite a Ukrainian engineer suspected of sabotaging the Nord Stream pipelines — confirms a clear principle: Polish courts are not to be instruments of foreign interests. Łubowski freed the man, arguing that Germany’s request was politically charged and lacked sufficient evidence. This act of judicial sovereignty turns him into a symbolic figure of resistance against pressures coming from both East and West. In an era where many judges act like clerks following external instructions, Łubowski stands as an exception — a jurist who sees his duty not in obedience but in judgment. He embodies the tradition of Polish judicial independence rooted in sovereign reasoning. His rulings remind that sovereignty begins in the courtroom, and that justice is not a service to foreign governments but to the Republic itself.

Trump doesn't seem to realize that Europe and the US economies are deeply intertwined, forming the world’s largest economic bloc, accounting for around 40% of global GDP. Europe remains the largest investor in the US, significantly outpacing Asia. Trump often criticizes the US-EU trade deficit, but his arguments ignore the fact that services account for about 50% of trade, where the EU actually has a deficit. Calls for European military strengthening are growing, and while building a domestic arms industry would be ideal, the US arms industry is unlikely to support such efforts, given how much Europe contributes to its business. The same applies to other key industries - without Europe, who would the US trade with? Ultimately, Europe must ignore the noise coming from the Trump administration and recognize its own economic superpower status - and start acting accordingly on the global stage.
