@marcrarnone @charlieo_conn There is a difference between being inept defensively and being on the ice for at least half of the goals against every game. The first 2 goals on Sunday, his play was mind boggling. Just terrible. He was on the ice for a goal on the PK, too. After he just had a 3 gm -8 run.

Because he's still REALLY rough defensively & in terms of skating technique. The Flyers figure this is the last time they can do remedial work with him in the AHL without worrying about waivers, & they want to take full advantage of it while he has the luxury of facing low comp.

@marcrarnone No, I really wanted Nemec. Cutter was my top forward choice going in and I wanted him at the draft. I was absolutely stoked when they took Cutter and was his biggest booster until the dreaded nightmare happened.

Now teach him how to actually play defense! He is very good offensively, but stinks defensively.

Can’t win a baseball game when you only score one run. Crazy concept that I totally haven’t seen be an issue for going on idk 4 consecutive years.

@ledzep33 @B_Sommermann York has struggled. MM39 did not play well in the first 2 periods. TK is probably playing hurt again. Zegras was OK. 4th line regressed to the mean a little.

Too selfish by Flyers down the stretch... Michkov on the PP, Konecny on first 6v5 chance, Tippett on the rush leading to empty netter... just lost their sense of where the game was. #LetsGoFlyers

Really tough night for Cam York... costs the Flyers a goal for the second time tonight. First was slow to puck in his feet and now outmuscled by a smaller player... both goals tipped home by Alex Ovechkin. #LetsGoFlyers

@charlieo_conn York was more or less useless on that play. Instead of playing the puck he gave 3 baby cross checks.

Ovechkin does it again. 5-3 Caps.

@BeeTEE15 Andre isn't that different other than being the worst of the three

having both Drysdale and York on the same team is kinda redundant . Drysdale is better though.
