The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is exploring the possibility of adding a themed hotel, with some concepts including rooms that could offer views into animal exhibits. The idea is still in an early, exploratory phase as the Metroparks looks for proposals to determine if a project like this is viable. If developed, the hotel could help generate revenue for the zoo while creating a unique overnight experience for visitors. Early studies looked at a hotel with around 135 rooms. The photos included are examples of zoo hotels that already exist, showing what similar experiences can look like. Exact designs or plans for Cleveland have not been released.
