It appears this season is not going to go the way any of us planned. However, whether you like it or not, the Royals are probably not going to fire their manager. Teams don’t generally fire a manager who’s coming off two winning seasons and to whom they just gave an extension. I’m not arguing principle; I’m arguing pragmatic reality. So I’m unlikely to entertain nightly arguments about whether or not he should be fired. I don’t have the energy. We can talk about his successes and failings, the lineup, the pitching staff, really anything that is actually happening. But a firing is not happening anytime soon and probably not this year.

Give me a break. Absolutely pathetic.

Q could’ve pinch hit a lefty for Lane Thomas a few innings ago when we had a runner in scoring position with a RHP on the mound. He comes up an inning later down 1 run with Maikel on 3rd and grounds out first pitch…then costs us a run in the field in the 8th. They could’ve gotten a better hitter up for him and would’ve had Isbel in CF who makes that play in his sleep

@RoyalsSzn_26 Well said. Unfortunately that approach has not worked well for Q. Time to try a consistent line up.

Please explain why Q never sticks with a consistent lineup. Hard to get comfortable playing every 3 game. Dumb
