As a doctor who treated patients for decades, my top priority is protecting children and families. Multiple children have died or were hospitalized from measles, and South Carolina continues to face a growing outbreak. Two children have died in my state from whooping cough. All of this was preventable with safe and effective vaccines. The vaccine schedule IS NOT A MANDATE. It’s a recommendation giving parents the power. Changing the pediatric vaccine schedule based on no scientific input on safety risks and little transparency will cause unnecessary fear for patients and doctors, and will make America sicker.

@denehy1 I ended up using those... just destroy a lot of the patella during it and haven't figured out a better way to explant these. Usually swearing remotely at the surgeon that put it in helps.

If you put in a press fit patella that needs to be explanted, you should have to come in and explant it yourself no matter what facility the patient goes to. I said what I said.

Instead of still pushing the discriminatory practices of DEI, Physician Associations need to turn their energy to pushing cost containment within their disciplines. Residents and Students need to learn how to practice smarter and leaner. Medicare is running out of money.

@denehy1 @txsportsdoc @jointdocShields @generalorthomd @AAHKS Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty. You have to say anterior compartment over and over... I've actually good success with these but have pretty strict criteria for imaging and even more so on symptoms. Then again I don't resurface my patellas on tkas so...🤷‍♂️
