VIDEO | On the fallout between filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and actor Ranveer Singh, FWICE chief advisor Ashoke Pandit says, "Well, it's very simple. If the director association had received a complaint from Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, saying that they've invested 45 crores in Don 3 in a pre-production work. And, last moment, just three weeks before the unit was supposed to leave for shoot, Ranveer Singh withdrew from the film and he left the film. So they have suffered a huge loss. We would like to have this, losses to be reimposed on us and given to us, for our betterment, then when the complaint happened, they sat with us for two hours, the federation then sent reminders to Ranveer Singh to present his side, but he chose not to reply one, second, third, three notices. So we had all of us, we had a meeting together and we came to this conclusion that now that he is not responding to us, we gave him really a month or so. We have to come to a particular conclusion. Then he wrote a letter saying it is not in our jurisdiction, so, there's not a proper forum to to take this call. So then we had a office bearers meeting and all that, we said that we should non-cooperation because if he feels that Federation is not a right forum. We came to this conclusion that Federation issues a non-cooperation. Non-cooperation means any member of ours belonging to all 38 crafts will not work in all those projects where he is part of it. So that is the notification which we have issued today... So, we have made an appeal to, him, to all the producer bodies, to get together and see to this trend, which is a very dangerous trend of anybody leaving a project." #FarhanAkhtar #RanveerSingh
