@_Ricky1633_ @vertirement Yeah this account is weird but they asked a questions on why Isack was slow so I just answered to maybe get more reasons why cuz I was still confused ( still am )
English

@mariackdb86 @vertirement I don't doubt that it could be a problem with the car. But when I saw the main tweet you replied to, I thought you might suspect sabotage too. That account has posted a whole 4 tweets on the topic in the last hour, just to give you an idea...

@_Ricky1633_ @vertirement that’s what I said tho I said maybe it’s car problème since mekies said his setup isnt working well and that we should let time tell cuz it’s too eslry
English

@mariackdb86 @vertirement It’s totally fine that you like Isack, but since you were replying to a tweet from a Yuki fan who enjoys fueling the sabotage narrative, that’s what I meant. It’s just a quali at the end. It could be the car or a driver error. We’ll see how it goes tomorrow.

@_Ricky1633_ @vertirement Me being a max fan doesn’t mean I need to insult the second seat driver btw
English

@_Ricky1633_ @vertirement did not expect myself here but I am not calling it sabotage 😭 I said this because for one mekies said that parts of his car isnt working properly after fp1 and 2 it’s too early to judge I’m a max fan but I also love Isack
English

@Wildcat1204 my point is that even with a worse car he got better results maybe the car was easier to drive maybe I’m bias but with a harder car I still don’t see him 1s slow but I think it’s way too early to judge whether or not Hes a bad driver or not cuz we only have fp1 and sprint quali
English

@mariackdb86 -first 3 races of this season, where the regulations were directly hurting Verstappen’s times explicitly because he was pushing harder than Hadjar.
Now they fixed the regulations to not hurt you for going fast, and the gap opened. Driver ability is clearly a large factor here.

@Wildcat1204 True but I think it’s too early to judge mekies said some part of his car isnt working properly because in an interview he doesnt even know why the gap is big
English

@mariackdb86 -drivers who pushed hard in Qualifying. The big changes this weekend aimed to fix that. Without that cushion, the gap has opened up massively.
Hadjar isn’t shit, but Verstappen is one of the best Qualifiers on the grid. This is the most accurate comparison of them we’ve had yet.
English

@Wildcat1204 I mean u said yourself the regulation changed a bit in Miami And u can go flat out that’s why the gap is big like last year not talking abt the 3 first races so I brought last year to show he can do better when driving flat out
English

@mariackdb86 I’m really not sure how else I can explain this.
We cannot base how fast Hadjar is flat out relative to Verstappen based on how he did last year *at all*. They were in completely different cars so their positions mean nothing.
The regulations this season actively punished-
English

@Wildcat1204 @CColl38408 @Hawk9248 Yeah that’s true but with the new regulation change in Miami it brought it similar to driving flat out than wtv it was in the first 3 races and when Isack was driving flat out last year he was not that shit even he is confused so probably something with the car
English

@mariackdb86 @CColl38408 @Hawk9248 He got better results… in a different car under different regulations lol. How he performed last year is completely and utterly irrelevant.
Hadjar driving flat out does not compare to Verstappen driving flat out. His inexperience was being rewarded by the regulations before.
English

@Wildcat1204 @CColl38408 @Hawk9248 It is relevant cuz when he was driving flat out he got better results than what he’s driving rn so I doubt it’s driver issues
English

@mariackdb86 @CColl38408 @Hawk9248 Last year is completely irrelevant, Hadjar last year was in a different car under different regulations.
The regulation changes this weekend were significant and mostly focused on fixing Qualifying. Without that added cushion to help his times, this sort of gap is expected.
English

@CColl38408 @Hawk9248 I mean ngl based on this interview it looks like we’re going back to 2024 Horner with checo

English

@mariackdb86 @Hawk9248 Thanks! I wasn’t sure if Isack got the same upgrades as Max or not. Hopefully, Mekies doesn’t follow in the same path as Horner and ignore the needs of his 2nd driver
English

@Wildcat1204 @CColl38408 @Hawk9248 Not really I mean last year when the regulations were normal Isack was qualifying way higher than p9 and now in Miami the regulation change was not that big it’s still not like previous years
English

@mariackdb86 @CColl38408 @Hawk9248 It’s not just parts. A lot of why Hadjar was so close before is that the regulations punished drivers for pushing on the limit, which is Verstappen’s whole thing. Pushing literally made you slower.
The changes for this weekend were aimed at fixing that, so now the gap is back.
English

@CColl38408 @Hawk9248 maybe we are missing something but from what I’ve seen theyre sharing the same upgrades and I doubt it’s driver fault because he was much closer before
English

@mariackdb86 @Hawk9248 Do you know if Isack got some of the upgrades this weekend? Or, are they continuing the tradition of Max getting the upgrades first?
English

@mariackdb86 @leclercize true, but he himself doesn’t pronounce it :)
English

of course the white name he can pronounce perfectly fine without having to write it down phonetically
lec♡︎@leclercsstreet
Jimmy Fallon is filming content with Max and Isack??? COOL.
