We looked at where the tech is going and found it impossible to imagine a future where AI is not doing the majority of customer service work very soon. I'm 100% certain of it and would wager my entire @intercom stake on it (which I kind of already am!) with anyone who can put up the $$$. But AI-first MUST also mean customer-first. Or else we're all going backwards. I get it that the chatbots of yesterday were absolute shit. But this new generation of tech makes customers very happy—I have all the data to prove it. Our platform is designed to leverage AI to do the demeaning, repetitive customer service work, and use humans to bring the humanity, empathy, compassion, and care that AI cannot. The businesses win, the support agents win, and the customers win.
