@LelaniCarver @Cube_Republic It’s frustrating, because I didn’t have to use nodes. I don’t want to. At all.

Blender 3 users: is there a way to bake an ambient occlusion map *without* having to use nodes? There was in 2.7.

@Cube_Republic Hmm. I try, but when I got to bake, I get this message, and everything I am finding is "oh, well, do this thing with nodes" and I just want to back a simple AO map.

@marimccann yes switch renderer to cycles from workbench and bake in the same way as before. There's also handplane baker which will get you there handplane3d.gumroad.com/l/znpF

@soft MadPea and There In Spirit have put out some good once recently. “Shows” with multiple styles of fireworks are most popular. I have seen some mesh (not particle) firework attempts over the last couple, but they quickly become boring.

Who makes some of the best fireworks in Second Life? Are there any cool new tricks and approaches invented in recent years?
