The definition of hypocrisy. Sadiq Khan is now 'looking into' the weight of SUVs. The man who has expanded the ULEZ. He's chauffeured around in at least one Range Rover Sentinel, it weighs over 4 tonnes and is V8 powered. Which, by the way, around London is probably doing around 8-9mpg. "For accurate, real-world data, the Sentinel's fuel economy is likely comparable to or slightly worse than a loaded long-wheelbase (LWB) V8 Range Rover, often reported by owners to be in the 11-16 mpg range under typical luxury armored transport use." Oh, and they're close to £400,000. Do as I say, not as I do, as the saying goes...

The breakfasts are not free. They are paid for by taxes - mostly on parents who feed their own kids. Most of these 10,000 children would have had a perfectly healthy breakfast at home without these clubs. This isn't about helping the poorest kids, it's the state taking over the basic job of parenting.

Sir Adrian Fulford, inquiry chair, today said UK authorities including the government’s anti-extremism Prevent programme had failed to address the “clear high degree of risk of violent harm to others” posed by Rudakubana in the years before his attack.
