@randolphkwatson @Brentonmfender @MattLeinartQB By 13U, a kid is picking a sport based on passion first. I’m not so sure they are thinking about reaching the pros and garnering millions of dollars. For sure they’re thinking about playing at the college level.

@mario_prosp @Brentonmfender @MattLeinartQB Agree. That’s pretty much what I’m saying. It’s a little different because a math teacher might have some moral/philosophical reason to pursue teaching. But a laxer who can play football instead, I’m skeptical that he wouldn’t choose football.

I think the answer is that lacrosse isn’t as widely played at a young age so it’s easier for kids with access to lax shine in it. They can play football/bball but they have to compete with everyone then.
