@nib95_ @CultClassicCage You could literally do anything this weekend play many indie/ 3rd party banger drops that have come out this week or Wrestlemania I'm busy doing both but instead you're writing this retarded shit for pennies. You'd look like less of a fag if ChatGPT did write this shit for you 🤷🏽‍♀️

By insinuating I'm using ChatGPT, you're admitting you're mentally limited. Not everyone is as verbally and mentally incapable as you are, so stop thinking it must be AI assisted just as you couldn't. The first "flip flop" example you bring up is also laughably inept. "When exclusives mattered" Who said they don't matter except massively ignorant Xbox and PC fans who have an aversion to facts, data and the way the business works, while constantly miscalculating how strategies will fare? Exclusives matter. Exclusives have ALWAYS mattered. Data and sales prove they do. Show me some large following PlayStation centric influencers/journalists who flip flopped on exclusives mattering. I'll wait. "When Xbox went day and date it devalues games" "Now Sony's moving more into PC" PlayStation still isn't day and date on PS+ save for some outlier rare titles, so there's no day date devalue argument for PS+ like Game Pass. They're also moving AWAY from PC based on reports, not TOWARDS it. So again, an ignorant and misplaced point. Most PlayStation centric accounts weren't convinced with the move to PC, and most are happier they're moving away from it outside of live service, so again, I fail to see flip flopping inconsistency. Reporting strategy shifts or PlayStation's reasons for exploring things, isn't the same as a person flip flopping themselves. That's just factual reporting. The DATA and financial analysis (something you guys are allergic to and why your projections and takes are so often flawed), shows day and date on PC cannibalised Xbox console sales and marketshare, and made no tangible gain to their revenue growth, as any gained sales on PC were offset by lost 30% cut to Steam on first and third party games. Xbox FY revenue from new console launch: 21 - $15.37bn 22 - $16.23bn (+6%) 23 - $15.47bn (-5%) 24 - $15.75bn (+2%) w/o ABK Total growth first 4 years of gen +2.5% without ABK, and likely a DECLINE when removing Zenimax revenue. So factually day and date PC, Game Pass, a new console launch etc did F all for Xbox's revenue growth, and the only thing that had a dramatic impact required spending $75.4bn (ABK). Meanwhile over the first 4 years of the launch of the PS5 and Switch, Nintendo and PlayStation revenue growth was closer to 60%, 24x what Xbox's was. PlayStation fans were and have also been highly critical of the live service move, and folk celebrating a steer back towards SP focus. The rest of your tweet is similar misplaced nonsense, fueled by emotion, not market analysis and truths. Xbox's pivots were not always shifts to a changing industry, but shifts as the previous strategy failed, they got greedy, or lacked vision and market understanding. While PlayStation and Nintendo's evolving ADDITIVE strategies have accompanied their EXISTING strategies being incredibly successful, Xbox's have been in response to existing strategies from Kinect onwards, being highly unsuccessful. For example +Kinect focus - wanting that Wii pie. +All digital DRM - forcing more control/revenue. +TV entertainment box - thinking billions would buy Xbox One for entertainment features. ---- Xbox One and studio and output decline as a result ---- +PC day and date - thinking greatly declining and stagnating exclusive sales would hugely increase in only an additive way. +Play Anywhere - thinking it'd be a huge selling boon, plus incentivise PC gamers coming over to Xbox, when it actually aided the opposite over time. Game Pass focus - Wanting a Netflix of gaming impact after traditional model and sales were hugely declining. Cloud focus - thinking Google and Amazon were the real competition in cloud, not traditional platforms. Series S split SKU - thinking a lower priced SKU would greatly improve sales and console marketshare. Exclusives - because theirs were no longer selling nearly as well. Convergence with PC - because they capitulated their console. Etc. If you want a live debate in spaces about this topic, I'm down

Chatgpt Make a response to this PlayStation fanboy's deranged long ass retarded tweet with another long drawn out tweet: It’s always funny seeing this argument come from the PlayStation side because it ignores years of the exact same behavior—just framed as “passion” instead of what it actually is: selective outrage and brand loyalty. You’re calling Xbox fans “spineless” for adapting to strategy shifts, but what you’re really describing is something every platform fanbase does—including PlayStation’s, arguably to a worse degree. Let’s not rewrite history here. PlayStation fans have flipped narratives constantly depending on what benefits Sony at the time: When exclusives mattered → “Exclusives are everything, Xbox has no games” When Sony started putting games on PC → “It’s just extra money, doesn’t hurt exclusivity” When Xbox went Day & Date → “That’s unsustainable, it devalues games” Now Sony is moving further into PC/live service → suddenly it’s “smart business” That’s not “strong convictions,” that’s the exact same alignment with platform strategy you’re accusing others of. The difference is Xbox fans openly debate the changes, while PlayStation fans tend to defend everything unconditionally, even when it contradicts what they said a year ago. Also, listing Xbox pivots like they’re some kind of “gotcha” ignores why those pivots happened—they were responses to a changing industry. Game Pass, cross-play, Play Anywhere, cloud gaming—these weren’t random flip-flops, they were early bets on where gaming is going: Cross-platform ecosystems Subscription models Hardware-agnostic access And guess what? Sony is now slowly adopting multiple versions of those same ideas. So were those ideas “failures”… or just ahead of where the industry was at the time? The “propaganda” angle is also ironic coming from a PlayStation perspective. This is the same fanbase that: Defends $70–$90 pricing increases as “necessary” Justifies reduced first-party output as “quality over quantity” Downplays layoffs, cancellations, and missteps Turns every criticism into “you’re just an Xbox fanboy” That’s not objectivity—that’s brand shielding. And the “wider market doesn’t buy it” point doesn’t land the way you think it does. Yes, PlayStation is currently ahead in traditional console metrics. Nobody is denying that. But the industry itself is shifting away from that exact model: PC growth is massive Mobile dominates globally Subscriptions and ecosystems are expanding Hardware is becoming less central So measuring everything through “console war wins” in 2026 is already outdated thinking. The reality is this: Every platform is evolving. Xbox is pushing ecosystem over hardware PlayStation is slowly moving beyond strict exclusivity Nintendo is doing its own thing entirely But only one fanbase consistently pretends their platform is immune to criticism while calling everyone else “gullible.” If you want to criticize Xbox strategy, that’s fair—there’s plenty to debate. But acting like PlayStation fans are somehow above the same bias, flip-flopping, and narrative shifting is just not grounded in reality. It’s the same behavior—just wearing a different logo.
NIB@nib95_

I don't think there's a more spineless, fickle and disingenuous fandom of influencers and shills than the Xbox fandom, nor more gullible fans. Some of the same folk who touted Xbox's acquisitions FOR exclusives, then switched to exclusives are bad, going away, when we all play it's great and the only way platforms can be profitable etc, are now back to pushing exclusives again. 😐 The whiplash inducing flip flops are both laughable and foolish. And the people who defend the constant flip flops that always align with Xbox's strategy shifts, as just 'growth in opinion', either unintelligent simpletons or intellectually dishonest. Switching stances to always conform to a platforms strategies isn't evolving opinion but parroting whatever the platform wants them to push, akin to propaganda. It also shows said people don't actually have credible and reliable convictions of their own, nor an adherence to actual facts and data. Kinect TV entertainment box Online only DRM PC Day and Date Play Anywhere Cross-gen not holding things back Series S not holding things back Series S low priced SKU game changer True RDNA2 Huge perfomance delta Game Pass Cloud gaming Handheld PC gaming PC is console Exclusives Etc Every new strategy or pivot is championed or will be the future of gaming that every other platform will or should follow (despite Xbox's countless failures forcing further pivots), or what's best or true, even when it's not. Is it any surprise then that Asha Sharma is doubling down on the para social stuff and also sending Project Helix gift packs to start the PR nice and early? No. If Helix does end up being an ultra premium system and bridge towards off boarding away from console and closer to PC or publishing, the ever shrinking echo chamber of gullible, easily swayed fans will be more important than ever, likewise influencers to propagate the favoured narratives and marketing during this important transition. Interestingly and thankfully, the wider market doesn't buy into said parrotted PR, hence Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox's trajectories, market impact and strategies have fared as they have. /rant
