Fluoroquinolones carry multiple safety warnings for nerve damage, psychiatric effects, tendon rupture, and cardiac rhythm disturbances, and are generally recommended only when other antibiotics are unsuitable. Giving a drug with known neurological risks to teenagers during a neurological infection outbreak raises serious questions about risk-benefit decisions and informed consent.

@KateShemirani Kate, it's not a neurological in-fection, it's an outfection cleanse, due to poisoning, resulting in swollen 'brains'. (To be REALLY honest they probably located the brain in the arse of the (less than) average student.
