Why I personally think trading sucks (outside of the memecoin craze we had) No stable income You can’t plan anything because you don’t know if you’ll make money next week Wins don’t change your life, losses stick in your head for days You never know if you’re actually good or just caught a run You can do everything right and still lose money You can do everything wrong and still win So your brain never learns what’s actually correct You’re always one decision away from regret Take it → regret it Skip it → regret it There’s no real progress You can grind for months and be exactly where you started Or worse You’re alone with it No one to reality check you No one to tell you you’re delusional Your self-worth quietly ties to your PnL Red day → you feel like shit Green day → relief, not happiness You start overthinking everything Even your best trades don’t feel clean You stop trusting your own decisions You can’t switch off Even when you’re not trading, you’re thinking about it Charts follow you everywhere It rewards bad behavior and punishes good behavior So you slowly lose discipline without realizing it You’re always “on” Always scanning Always feeling like you’re missing something And over time It stops feeling like a skill and starts feeling like you’re just trying not to lose yourself

A hard realization hit me over the past few days I never actually wanted to be a "trader" It’s one of the most exhausting, soul draining spaces I’ve ever been in and deep down I knew that as far back as 2020 when I first got into it the space The truth is that memecoin trading was never real trading. Making 50k in 30 minutes isn’t a transferable skill to any other market, it doesn’t apply ANYWHERE else And now that that world has faded, I feel like I’m back at zero. No real skills, just confusion, fog, and no clear idea of where life goes next
