@maripohxa @Execdump Pero what classifies as feminine? Dapat ba naka-make up, mahaba hair, naka dress, mataas boses and other stereotypes? Like these are the norms I am talking about, are they supposed to have these femininity to be called women?

Why insist trans women are women? Scientifically, you aren't. Our ancestors fought hard for women’s rights; claiming biological men are women is deeply disrespectful to biological women. Why can’t you just stay as trans without claiming to be women when you aren't?

TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN! Ngayong Pride Month, may #ReelsTalk ang LGBTQ+ advocate na si Vince Liban sa pagkilala sa mga trans woman bilang mga babae.

@maripohxa @Execdump So, women should be treated a certain way and follow some kind of norm? Doesn't that perpetuate misogynistic ideologies and stereotypes? And are we defining womanhood based on negative aspects of life??

@abcde2317_23 @Execdump both live as women in society. Both experience sexism, mansplaining, catcalling, gendered expectations and body policing. Different biology, same "treated as woman' experience.

@maripohxa @Execdump But they claim to be women. So kung every other kind of woman have an experience with female biology whether good or bad. Ano ang similarities nila with trans to be put under the category of women??

@maripohxa @Execdump Yes, but my question is how are both experiences considered womanhood? Kasi if they both fall under the umbrella term of woman, meaning they check similar boxes

@maripohxa @Execdump Thank you for acknowledging na different ang lived experience. Pero how are they falling in the same category of womanhood, ano similarities nila if not lived experience? Kasi queer, white, black, disabled etc. women share some kind of exp with biological functions good or bad

@abcde2317_23 @Execdump you are literally enclosing the meaning of womanhood on biology. in modern context, "female" is entirely different from "woman"

@maripohxa @Execdump That's not limiting them. Using biology as a definition means women are people who get pregnant, menstruate, etc. IN PRINCIPLE. Kung hindi nila kaya yun, ibig sabihin may nangyari (medical issue, infertile, hysterectomy, etc)
