Most still don’t understand the impact of ZK tech — let alone what it means for chains that weren’t designed with programmability in mind. ZK isn’t just about privacy, it’s about architecture. Architecture that separates execution from settlement — two processes that are historically bundled together on-chain. With ZK: ▪️Execution can happen off-chain while, ▪️Settlement remains on the base layer But, what does this all mean? 🧙‍♂️ For UTXO-based systems like Bitcoin or Litecoin, it means you don’t have to redesign the chain to unlock programmability. You don't need to compromise its minimalism. You don't need to add unnecessary complexity to the base layer. You don't need to force an account-model framework (like ETH) onto a UTXO system. ZK allows programmable overlays, and decouples execution from settlement. 🟠 The computation happens elsewhere, while the base layer simply verifies the proof. Security remains intact. Scalability increases (it's able to bundle thousands of transactions into one small proof). Functionality expands (UTXO systems can verify external computation without executing it themselves). Execution ≠ Settlement. Structural shifts are in order. 🟠
