Brisbane’s cross river rail project had an original budget of $5.4bn, with passenger services meant to start in 2026 The revised budget is now at $19.0bn with passenger services now expected to start in 2029 So that’s a $13bn budget overrun and 3 year time overrun So was this ever really an infrastructure project ?
