Under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, US employers must reasonably accommodate employees' sincerely held religious beliefs or practices unless it poses an "undue hardship". This includes adjustments for prayer, dress codes, and scheduling, as well as protection against harassment and discrimination. They can't fire them for their religion either.
