@davidmcw The state has taken in roughly €478 billion in tax revenue over the past 10 years and we really have FA to show for it. Absolutely staggering the lack of infrastructure development. Poland has built almost 5000 Kms of new roads in the last 10 years.

Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic have announced that they will NOT participate in the EU Migration Pact quota system and are ready to challenge the EU 👏. According to the Pact, all Member States must either accept quotas of migrants, in proportion to their population and total GDP, to alleviate the burden on countries considered “under migratory pressure”, mostly located in southern Europe, or pay €20,000 per person if they do not agree to relocate. On Tuesday 11th November, the European Commission announced a new distribution plan to alleviate the burden of migration on Italy, Spain and Greece, meaning that some some central and eastern European countries will be required under the Pact to participate in the quota system. Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic will not be accepting migrants under the EU Migration Pact NOR will they pay for it.

New entrance to Deerpark in Mount Merrion. At a cost of €753,528.43, built by Actavo (Ireland) Ltd. Works included new steps, ramp, railings, stone walls, paving & landscaping to improve safety & accessibility. Much needed improvements, but I thinks its fair to ask: why does an entrance to a park cost three-quarters of a million euro? Is this value for money?

@wiktorowicz_m @MyLordBebo I'm Irish and have been living in Czech and Poland for the past 2O years so whilst not fluent but I understand everything you wrote. A common language would be great but still a lot of mistrust between the Slavic speaking countries so it probably won't work
