Let's use a 1-step 25K account as an example... with 10% profit target, 3% daily loss limit, and a 6% overall drawdown cap. There's no time limit, which is exactly what changes everything. With no clock running, patience becomes a real strategy. You don't need a heroic week, you need a steady one. The trap most people fall into is the daily loss limit. 3% of 25K is $750, and if you're sizing big on volatile pairs, you can hit that on a single bad morning. So size for the bad days, not the good ones. Risk a fraction of a percent per trade, and a normal losing streak never gets you near that wall, while you've got all the time you need to grind out the 10%.
