Obviously bait, but I’ll bite. If anyone truly believes Eddie Howe should have won the a league title or the Champions League (the only European comp he’s managed in) while managing us, Bournemouth or Burnley - they need their head testing. #nufc
True Geordie@TrueGeordieTG

Now that Arteta has won the Premier League… Eddie Howe is the highest-spending football manager in history, never to have won a league title in Europe or a European trophy. £920m spent in his career with one league cup to show for it. #NUFC

🇩🇰 William Osula: An Apology Football has a funny way of making you look foolish. As fans, we are often guilty of the 'knee-jerk.' We see a signing, we look at a stat sheet, we watch a twenty-minute cameo, and we decide. We stamp a verdict on a player before they’ve even had time to find a house in Newcastle. When William Osula arrived from Sheffield United, the collective reaction from a large section of the Toon Army—this writer included—was a resounding, “Eh?” With all due respect to the lad, he wasn’t the marquee, statement signing we were craving. He was a young striker who had found goals hard to come by in a struggling Blades side. The fee felt steep, the logic felt muddled, and the skepticism was palpable. We wanted a proven, elite striker, not a project. Today, it’s time to eat a massive slice of humble pie. William, I owe you an apology, others too. What we all failed to see—and what Eddie Howe and the scouting team clearly did—was the raw, unpolished engine waiting to be tuned. Osula didn't arrive as the finished article, and he didn’t expect to walk into the starting XI. But football moves fast. Injuries hit, opportunities arose, and when his number was called, the young Dane didn't just step up; he grabbed the shirt with both hands. It’s not just the goals, though those have been a brilliant, welcome bonus. It’s everything else: The Work Rate: He runs himself into the ground, pressing from the front in a way that fits Eddie Howe’s blueprint perfectly. The Physicality: He has adapted to the sheer brutality of Premier League centre-backs with surprising ease, using his frame to hold up the ball and give the midfield a breather. The Attitude: No complaints, no media noise. Just a young player putting his head down and learning from the coaches, even putting in extra training with Graeme Jones. This serves as a timely reminder for all of us at St. James' Park. Under this regime, players aren't just bought for who they are today; they are bought for who they can become tomorrow. We saw it with Anthony Gordon, we saw it with Joelinton's resurrection, and now we are seeing it with Osula. He isn’t the finished product yet, and there will still be bumps in the road. But he has proven he belongs in this team. He has proven he has the ceiling to be a serious asset for Newcastle United for years to come. So, here’s to you, William. Thank you for proving us and me wrong! Keep making us look foolish 🤣 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL

Love or hate Gordon or maybe in-between, but not getting a single minute despite being fit is a bit weird. He has been a key player for us over the last 2-3 years. Do we think it's Gordon not wanting to risk an injury, or perhaps a rift between him and Eddie? #NUFC

🏁 The future of Anthony Gordon is currently the subject of intense negotiations between Newcastle United and Bayern Munich, according to Craig Hope. The German giants have made the England international their primary target for the summer window, and Gordon himself is interested in exploring a move to the Bundesliga. However, a significant financial hurdle remains as the two clubs are currently millions of pounds apart in their valuations. Bayern is aiming for a deal around the £60 million mark, while Newcastle is holding firm for a fee closer to £80 million including add-ons. With Eddie Howe admitting that his recent team selections are focused on the long-term future of the squad, it is becoming increasingly likely that Gordon will spend the remaining games of the season on the sidelines while his departure is finalised. #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL #BayernMunich

👋 Newcastle United: The Ones That Got Away – Elliot Anderson It’s always sad when a young, locally produced prospect has to move on. We’ve had loads over the years as local talent rarely seems to cut the mustard. But when one does make it and then has to be sold, well that hits differently. And it’s different again when the reason for selling is to keep on the right side of financial rules that many deem completely unnecessary! 🤬 Elliot Anderson was certainly one that got away. Or one that was given away, depending on your feelings about the Premier League and its ridiculous PSR rules being inflicted on a club who’s owners have more money than we could ever imagine! 🇸🇦💰 Anderson came to prominence after winning the 2022 'Wor Jackie' award, given yearly to the most promising young player at Newcastle United. He’d appeared briefly in the Premier League before this, but then spent the latter half of the ’21-’22 season on loan at Joey Barton’s Bristol Rovers where he made 21 appearances and scored 7 goals. He was a revelation at Rovers, earning rave reviews for his displays and picking up the ‘Geordie Maradona’ nickname to boot. Given our reputation for failed loans Anderson’s success clearly marked him out as one to watch. As such, he stayed with Newcastle for the next season, making 22 appearances and then a further 21 the season after. It was clear that we had a talented player on our hands and it seemed that Anderson had a bright future in black and white. There are some that would tell you that he wouldn’t have gotten the required amount of game time that would aid his development, but given the demands on the team lately and the involvement in four different competitions, it’s hard to see how he wouldn’t have found his way into the first team. Some would also point to the presence of Bruno, Tonali and Joelinton, but that trio haven’t looked themselves consistently for a while now. I think there would almost certainly have been an Elliot Anderson shaped gap there at some stage and that given his chance, evidence suggests that he would surely have taken it. Elliot – as we’re seeing these days in both a Forest and an England shirt – was a powerful, skillful player with a great range of passing who surely would have only got better under Eddie and also with the influence of the likes of Bruno and Tonali alongside him. In all though, Elliot only made 55 appearances for Newcastle United before the forced sale to Forest for a reported fee of £35m. Other reports have that as more like £15m + Vlachodimos. Whichever way you look at it, this wasn’t a good deal for Newcastle. Anderson has gone on to prove himself and then some. As well as producing some superb form for Forest where he spent most of last season in the Champions League places, Elliot has gone on to represent England brilliantly and looks a shoe in to start at the upcoming World Cup. Even this season, with Forest fighting relegation, Anderson has been their stand out player and is adored by their fans. The talk is that he will almost certainly then be on the move come the summer, with big money transfers to the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea as well as both Manchester clubs being reported in recent months. Newcastle have also been regularly mentioned as his next destination, but it would seem that financial restrictions would hinder the chances of what is thought to be a £100m transfer happening. Whatever happens next for Elliot it seems clear that he’s developing into a top player. The potential that we all saw at Newcastle is very much being realised and he is now producing game changing performances on a regular basis. Not just one that got away, but one that was ripped from our grasp and while we still have a top class midfield, it feels like Elliot Anderson – coupled with Lewis Miley – could and should have been the future of Newcastle United and ruled the roost for many years. #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL #NFFC #NottinghanForest

🚨 BREAKING: Harry Kane on a possible return to the Premier League: “I don’t think about returning to the Premier League anymore. For me, the biggest mission was always to win major trophies in my career, and I’ve finally started achieving that. If we can win the UEFA Champions League this season, it would mean everything to me because that’s the dream every player grows up with.” “When the time comes, I can see myself finishing my career in Saudi Arabia. Football is growing massively there, and it’s also a chance to secure my family’s future financially. I want to finish like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, who achieved everything in Europe before taking on a new challenge later in their careers. Cristiano especially is someone I’ve always admired for his mentality, professionalism, and longevity.” 🇸🇦🐐 “I don’t want to go to America or play in the MLS. No offence, but I personally wouldn’t want my children influenced by certain parts of American culture.”

If you're trying to fund your trading right now and you're broke: this is for you. Last week I posted about taking a $10,000 loan to fund my trading. I lost it in 6 weeks. Don't do what I did. I wrote down the exact 5-step gameplan I should have followed instead. The one that gets you the money for mentors and challenges without taking on debt that destroys you. ✅ How to track your finances so you actually know where the money goes ✅ The "ego cuts" that free up cash you didn't know you had ✅ How to increase income without quitting your job ✅ The exact reinvestment cycle that scales (mentors → challenges → payouts) ✅ Why most traders skip step 1 and never make it past step 3 Free. Comment "FUND" and follow me. I'll DM it to you today.

A summer departure from Newcastle United appears increasingly likely for Anthony Gordon as the club pivots to a more proactive player-trading strategy to fund a necessary squad overhaul, according to Chris Waugh. Following a challenging season that has left the team looking for a refresh, Newcastle is reportedly willing to entertain offers for the 25-year-old, provided their valuation of roughly £75m to £80m is met. Bayern Munich has emerged as a serious suitor, viewing Gordon as an ideal addition to their attack. While Newcastle would prefer to sell abroad rather than to a domestic rival, Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked to the winger, though each faces their own hurdles regarding finances and competing priorities. Liverpool, previously a strong candidate, does not currently appear to be actively pursuing a deal. Although Gordon has not formally requested a move, there is an understanding that the player may look to explore his options if he feels his ambitions no longer align with the club's direction. Do you think a move to the Bundesliga would be the best step for Gordon's career development at this stage? 🤔 #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL
