Only when you rise above the Flesh can you walk in the Spirit and receive guidance and Wisdom through the Word. When we stumble and sin, which is often, we must seek the Holy Spirit in the conscience to ask for forgiveness and guidance. As that relationship strengthens, the Word becomes a different message, one that only those of HIS flock can hear. Seek HIS message and follow the path to Salvation! (Being Born Again is when your consciousness transfers from your ego to your conscience, returning you to the state of a child and opening your eyes to the true message of the Gospels.)

No, it's not. It's not done out of vengeance, but out of love for both the offender and the victim. For the offender, it allows them to embrace their execution, repent, beg for forgiveness and still save their Soul and earn eternity. If they don't repent, then it's for the love of the victim to protect them from evil. Not a hard concept to grasp.
