Some perspectives on how Performance Directors in elite sport view athlete mental health 👇 Interviews with 11 PDs in the UK/Denmark revealed 3 key themes: 🔹A need for objective evidence to verify athlete mental health disclosures 🔹 Athletes as responsible owners of their mental health concerns 🔹 A focus on the positive aspects of mental health for peak performance (perhaps neglecting down sides of mental health)
