Outside #Tywyn #COOP this morning. Never heard of @HelipadHELP before, and I could see that Wales was empty on the map, with no 'Helipad project' listed for Wales, so I engaged the woman in conversation. She excused the lack of coverage for Wales by saying her organisation is "national", but the 'nation' seems to be England and Scotland. I asked why she was collecting in Wales for an outfit that appeared not to operate in Wales. Her response: "We're not collecting money, we're just taking names". Presumably these 'names' will be later approached for donations. I asked again about why she was doing this in Wales and she responded: "Because the tourists are here". As I pointed out, if any tourists got injured they'd rely on the Wales Air Ambulance. What exactly is the relationship between this outfit and @air_ambulance, if any? Will Wales Air Ambulance see any of the money collected or promised in Wales? Were there any others from Helipad Help collecting signatures for future donations in Wales today?

How about this … Ofsted school inspections are paused for 3 yrs. Inspectors are seconded into schools for teaching roles. DfE uses funding to employ building safety inspectors. Every school guaranteed a full structural survey instead.
