What’s a gaming rumor you actually believed as a kid?

@manfightdragon I was all digital for awhile until I noticed Sony pulling digital movies from customer accounts about 10 years ago, then Amazon removed ebooks from Kindles too. That radicalized me back to all physical (with the exception of small indies who can only release via digital).

The idea that there exists some kind of "digital gamers vs physical gamers" is insane. Don't all of us just own heaps of both digital and physical games?

The problem with physical media is that it's cheaper, can be bought second hand, can be re-sold, can be borrowed and can be loaned out. Sony will lose money by stopping sales of physical media, but they can just claw that money back on their extremely overpriced digital store.
