@tylermilliken_ @Buster_ESPN I would hope the damn President of Baseball Ops has the ear of the Owner. Just shows how dysfunctional things have been. Maybe this is a good thing. Or perhaps Cora should’ve just gone after the position himself.

More proof that Craig Breslow has won the power struggle, per @Buster_ESPN. “For years, Cora was the most powerful person in the organization. But with last year's success, sources within the Red Sox organization felt that Breslow had built a productive relationship with Henry.”

Seems Alex Cora thinks being happy is a good look. I think it's embarrassing. Not defending Red Sox management or ownership by stating that. Being happy about being fired less than 24 hours later certainly says something, and it's not positive for anyone involved. #RedSox

espn.com/mlb/story/_/id… My failure to perform in September of 2000 was one of the big reasons Buck Showalter was fired, and his amazing coaching staff, this is no different. If you don't perform people lose their jobs. Has NOTHING to do with the clubs direction and EVERYTHING to do with how players play.

They fired Dombrowski before Cora, They fired Chaim before Cora. Let's not act like this is some crazy unfair firing...I know you guys wanted Breslow gone but there was no way Cora should have gotten a free pass through 3 generations of front offices

@PalmerDesigns_ I said the same thing. At least Chad realizes the benefit of having facial hair. Breslow would be wise to grow his hair and beard back out. It would probably give him more respect around the league.

Say what you will about the last 22 hours or so, the Red Sox showed up today and found a way to win a series despite all the chaos. Connelly Early delivered the longest start of his career. The Sox were more aggressive on the basepaths and it paid off. Willson Contreras continues to mash. Andruw Momasterio sparked them again. And Ceddanne Rafaela continues to impress me offensively. Yes, there were some dumbs today, but the Red Sox are 1-0 in the Chad Tracy era.

Trevor Story is your leader? He's the captain of the S.S. .500 What a loser. He's batting .200 and has sucked for nearly his entire contract. He obviously thinks he's owed something. Get him out of here.

Chad Tracy wins his MLB managerial debut after spending two decades in the minors and Indy ball as a player and coach. ~ He was drafted in 2006. ~ He spent from 2006-13 as a minor league player. ~ He played Indy ball in 2013-14. ~ He managed Low-A Burlington in 2015. ~ He managed High-A Indland Empire in 2016 and '17. ~ He spent from 2018-21 as an Angels minor league field coordinator. ~ He spent from 2022 until yesterday managing the Worcester Red Sox.

@redsoxstats Sounds like a complete shit show. No wonder it’s carried on for so long.

Was told there are long-term and ongoing issues of top young players and prospects not buying into the Red Sox programs, deferring to the people they work with in the offseason. Since about April 2025, it's been infuriating to hear about what a joke the team is being run like.

The amount of dysfunction in the front office for going on two years far outweighs anything going on on the field. Openly discussed leadership failure. People are miserable in their jobs and underappreciated. The inner circle is like 3 people. Backstabbers and spies everywhere.

@stoolpresidente Funny you post this photo. I was just thinking about it, when realizing Henry listens to everything and reacts. Which has to be why he posted it in the first place.

Here is a question. You think Cora didn’t want Bregman back even though Bregman loved it here? You think it was Cora who didn’t believe him that he had another offer from the Cubs? You think it was Cora who cheaped out? You think it was Cora who wants Durbin as his 3rd baseman over one of the best leaders in baseball? (Cubs 2nd best record in baseball by the way). This team is a joke but it’s been a joke for a long time and it all starts with John Henry. He won’t pay for anybody. Breslow sucks. Henry sucks. #selltheteam
