.@OpenAI is hiring ML engineers for a new multi-agent research team! We view multi-agent as a path to even better AI reasoning. Prior multi-agent experience isn't needed. If you'd like to research this area with @kevinleestone and me fill out this form: jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai/form/oa…

I still can’t believe, all the universities — bad, good and top — just kinda throw stuff at students hoping important bits stick. We optimize the tiniest bit of inefficiency in all areas of life. Yet when it comes to probably the most important thing, shaping the next generation of development and research, we just don’t do that. It’s a bizarre thing that the optimization is so ruthless everywhere where you actually see money response to innefficiency (sports, production, marketing), but not when the response is not so instant. Even though we know these students will be responsible for how the world looks in 10-20 years. Dunno if that’s the “capitalism” or just how we as society function, but we really seem to have a big problem with these dopamine-like actions when the reward is postponed.
