I know the Forest/Villa aspect is very fun and cool but UEFA have really torched the Europa League’s competitive balance by no longer having Champions League teams drop down. Hard to see how it doesn’t end up with several PL teams in semi finals every year.
@SimonCalder What's the chances flight will run or you get there and get stuck though? All very well saying EU rules protect you, but the reality is airlines do their best to treat you badly and shirk responsibility when things go wrong.
Summer travel: Loads of cheap deals around in July and August, such as:
Luton to the Greek island of Mykonos for £83 one way (Wizz Air).
Glasgow to the island of Kos and back for £154 (easyJet).
Birmingham to Beauvais for £44 return (Ryanair).
Off you go.

@andymousemat@4oliiver@DaveHo1mes Lol agreed, but the wording is "Only medication prescribed by a medical professional is permitted. Any other substances will lead to refusal of entry and police involvement."
Genuine question, why are Newcastle and Sunderland exempted from the Premier League rules around having away fans at pitch level?
They can bleat about having to move home fans or not being able to accommodate away fans in particular areas, but every other club in the league manages it, and it’s definitely an advantage to have away fans as far away as possible.
That doesn’t even get to the ridiculous entry requirements, I’m sure fans from clubs on the south coast are ecstatic about not being able to take a power bank for what’s likely to be a minimum of a fifteen hour day to travel to the game.
@andymousemat@4oliiver@DaveHo1mes On another note, the message Forest sent suggests I'll be refused entry and reported to the police if I have some paracetamol in my pocket!
@4oliiver@andymousemat@DaveHo1mes Fair enough. Just seemed (based on way fans get treated and general quality of stewards) like you'd get back after the game and the stewards gone or they deny all knowledge of it!
@WynnJ1974@DaveHo1mes Coming up from London and it's 3.5 hours on train from KX plus an hour or so across London from home. So that'd be a 9 hour round trip. From the south coast you could easily get another 3-4 hours round trip so 12-13 hours, maybe not quite 15 but lengthy!
@marksmith99@markpilot8888@kelvmackenzie We’ve had away fans throwing objects down on fans before (blame the likes of Cov) so it’s just not worth the risk of someone getting hurt.
Sunderland’s security staff made Spurs fans hand over their phone chargers and small change ahead of Sunday’s game.
The chargers were returned, the coins weren’t. Staff said the money would go to Spurs official charity. Mmmm.
Giving is voluntary, taking isn’t. Hand it back.
@kelvmackenzie This rule has been in place for at least 2 years, it's well advertised and the reason why we do this are well known.
Stop moaning, it's part of the T + C's of entering the SOL as an away fan. Don't like it ? Don't come.
@ForestMike1970@marcelope17 Should add I think Porto is great and the stadium was decent, just a little more communication to fans would make things a lot better.
@marksmith99@marcelope17 Hardly worse than animals. In fairness, they did say we would be kept back and then people decided to leave their seats. Only one idiot there filming the police which probably pissed them off. An absolutely fantastic few days, I loved Porto.
@TrentEnd_Chris@NFFCServices Disagree. Not allowing people to go onto the concourse for the first 15 minutes or so them meant when movement started it created confusion as people thought we were leaving and all went out. Contrast with no issue at Fenerbahce as they didn't restrict movement to begin with.
@marksmith99@NFFCServices If I’m not mistaken. That’s not Porto’s fault. More fans not listening and rushing to get to no where. Could easily get a drink if people listened and stayed seated. Didn’t see any problems with what they did.
Whilst supporters are now able to access the toilets and kiosks, this is not the end of the holdback. Please remain in the stands if you are not using the facilities.
The sales windows info for Porto away contains an error and is being rectified.
Fans in Window 1 will be guaranteed a ticket if purchased in that time period.
Update: Sales criteria will be as stated, the error was concerning the wording about tickets potentially selling out in Window 1 which is not the case.
But wait for the official update which should hopefully be soon.
