A "lightweight PhpStorm" — is that something you're interested in? I can't make any promises on timelines, but I can say it's very high on the priority list.
Brent@brendt_gd

@jeffrey_way @phpstorm Actually, @jeffrey_way we're already experimenting with a lightweight version of PhpStorm; would you like to try it out?

Designing App Store screenshots takes too long So I made a Claude Skill that does it for me Instead of spending hours in Figma… now it's done in 15 minutes on autopilot Just add your app screenshots and it does the rest The final product can even be copied straight into App Store Connect It's the ASO App Store Screenshots skill and it's available on github here: github.com/adamlyttleapps…
Adam Lyttle@adamlyttleapps

I'm creating Claude Skill that does it all in 15 mins...

I’m pretty bad at bowling and frisbee. I roll the ball or throw the disc straight at the target, but away it curves. After this happens a few times, I adjust. I stop aiming straight since that’s not working. If it always curves to the left, I aim to the right.

💡 AI agent trick ⚡ Laravel Boost is great, But you can go much deeper and real power comes when you control the system, not the prompt. Define your own context.yml + guideline/*.md and force AI to follow your system. Queue logic, model rules, query patterns, deploy

this is literally THE WORST polish language feature (i'm polish) and i will die on that hill. it creates an artificial distance between strangers, requiring more mental effort to bridge that gap and talk to someone in a friendly way. this is one of the reasons why polish people seem very unfriendly for foreigners - we just grew up with a clear distinction between friends (hi, you) and strangers (good morning, Mr.,) it actually changes now with the new generation that's more 'english-influenced', but still the problem exists.

We just released @getpolyscope 0.14 and it's a big one! 🔥 1. Getting started with your next big project is even easier in Polyscope. You can now create fresh @laravelphp projects right within Polyscope itself! This gives you a polyscope.json out of the box too!

Do what you're good at and be good at what you do But remember, the world isn't a meritocracy It's all about the connections; who you know, not what you know If you want to make an impact, you have to get good at getting to know people

Some days you cook too fast and get burned. While the code may work, a confusing method name ruins the UX. Knowing now how many people are counting on me to get this right, I'm fixing it before it's too late. Here's another tease at what's coming. @Alpine_JS @LaravelLivewire

Tried to get this one out with last week's release but I wasn't satisfied, it needed more polish. It's now polished 🧼 Introducing `datatable`: A searchable, scrollable table for those selections that require a bit more information up front Available in Laravel Prompts v0.3.16

LiteLLM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, DO NOT UPDATE. We just discovered that LiteLLM pypi release 1.82.8. It has been compromised, it contains litellm_init.pth with base64 encoded instructions to send all the credentials it can find to remote server + self-replicate. link below

I just moved to Cyprus 🇨🇾 My first impressions and why I moved: > it's safe (unlike rest of Europe) > friendly people (unlike rest of Europe) > quiet > clean air > fast WiFi > tax friendly > great coffee > amazing food > very walkable > incredible weather > affordable (€2 for coffee, €7 for meal) > great laptop cafe culture (unlike rest of Europe) > growing tech scene (unlike rest of Europe) It's been so long since I had somewhere I could lock in from and call home. I was torn between UAE and Cyprus but the last month made my decision for me. And so far I am so happy with my decision.

@jeffrey_way back in 2017 we bought a WiFi coffee machine for the office - so we can control it from a mobile app. I think we used it twice 🤣

I do this exact thing at my house. I use text messages and crons to automate our Hue lights, Ecobee thermostat, play music (Play dinner playlist on Sonos every night at 6pm), start/stop fans, etc. Previously, I had to use/learn a different mobile app for each.
@

Incredible clip on how @karpathy uses OpenClaw to run his house via texts. You can ask agents to find connected hardware at your home (like Sonos speaker), and they'll search the network + hack in for you 🤯 You can control music, lights, HVAC, security...w/o writing any code.

Experimenting with Filament dashboard widgets. Non-standard ones, like in the screenshot. Many different ideas, but looks like I may release a new plugin in the near future.
