I can't think of any movie that's flawless, but that's just my opinion. I thought Scott Pilgrim was a bag of moose cocks, but plenty of people would disagree with me.

Personally, I love Nolan's Batman trilogy as well, and TLotR. Not so keen on The Hobbit trilogy, I thought it was too much of a stretch for 3 films.

@BestMovieMom The thing I love about this scene is that Vader really isn't trying. He's so casual about everything. Flicking away with his lightsaber and casually hurling stuff at Luke. You genuinely feel that he's just toying with Luke. This is a guy who can keep a starship from taking off.

George Lucas was so worried about "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) being a failure that he self-funded the entire movie. He took out a massive bank loan against his own property to maintain total creative control from the studios.

It’s rare we get to see anything of the TARDIS past the control room. But it’s cool when we do. Albeit a bit of a galafrey liminal space. I always wonder does the doctor ever sleep in any of these rooms?

@VideoGameHstry I had one of these, region unlocked, I got it from Play Asia back in the day. My ex sold it. Now when I look at eBay and how much they're worth I don't know whether to cry because I no longer have it, or laugh. Amazing machine, really wish I still had it. Sigh.

@jump_drive_flyr @TheMekon_Venus Yup, the dreaded "Twenty on Titan" judgement. The Titan penal colony required inmates to be surgically "enhanced" because of the atmosphere, but I guess they couldn't do that to Assante's Rico Dredd 😆.

@TheMekon_Venus There were some good aspects, the ABC warrior, the Angel Gang, the times he actually kept the helmet on..the outfit, gun and bike looked ok but I don't recall there being a penal place in the comics, the "hacker" character I wasn't keen on either but in general an ok film

When this came out.. Stallone was one of the most bankable movie stars in the world. They were never gonna make a Stallone movie with him covering his face all the time. But that’s what the character calls for… and a dark gritty tone. It’s not a terrible movie.. but it does feel they missed the point of the comics. Or are there any huge fans of this incarnation?
