The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. Sir, you guys are getting what you want. Europe without America. I'm not sure why you are upset about that? Spain, France, Italy, and Austria are ACTIVELY blocking American aircraft ferrying munitions from America to the Middle East. That is an act of overt siding with Iran. It's sad that you guys cannot see how Iran has continued spread terrorism across the Middle East and even now, they are the ones attacking civilian shipping, yet you side with Iran. I'm sorry, but this tells America that should a conflict happen in Asia over Taiwan. Europe will side with China. You know, this also proves WHY the US is so concerned about sovereignty over our bases in Greenland. From the UK giving away Diego Garcia, talks of Gibraltar next, and now this. There is no way we can trust Europe won't allow China or Russia access to Greenland in the future. I don't know if this breach of trust can be healed, and perhaps it can't be. Perhaps it's time to end NATO and form something new that includes our Asia Allies, and Eastern Europe.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

That is not how alliances work. That is not how anything works. You abused the UK. You threatened Canada. You tried to grab Greenland. You called the EU an adversary. You praised Putin, the one man every serious NATO ally has spent decades preparing to fight. You hosted Kremlin officials in the Capitol. You undermined European elections. You abandoned Ukraine. You imposed tariffs on your closest partners. You did all of this loudly, proudly, and on camera. And now you are surprised that nobody is returning your calls. Here is a question worth sitting with. Why do you think that is? Is it possible, just possible, that when you treat your allies like enemies for over a year while cuddling up to their actual enemy, those allies might update their opinion of you? Is that concept too complicated? Does that require more working memory than is currently available? You did not plan this war with your allies. You did not consult them. You did not build a coalition. You started a conflict, watched it go sideways, and then got on your knees asking for help from people you spent fourteen months calling weak, corrupt and irrelevant. NATO is not what it was. Not because Europe changed. Because Washington made crystal clear which side it is on. And it is not ours. You want European boots on the ground?
