1 Akku 1.000.000 km mit 85% Kapazität und ohne jegliche Reparatur. Motor 1.112.000 km, nach einer gründlichen Revision in der bekannten EVC in Zagreb danach 960.000 km ohne Reparatur. Motor nach oben offen lediglich der Simmering muss demnächst erneuert werden.

I hardly ever talk about this and I initially did not wanna comment. But yes. The observation is correct. I do not think of myself as the sharpest knife in the drawer. But quite certainly not bottom of the barrel either. Most probably I'm in the median of what you'd consider 'above average IQ' but certainly not top of tops. The reason I'm usually not saying this is because it sounds incredibly arrogant. And it can be demeaning towards others in a way they can't do anything about it. But truth is the truth and what the OP writes is correct. There are people simply too dumb to live and to even consider a one-step consequence of their own doing. On the other hand there are the 'street-smarts'. They can usually think at least one step further and they 'extrapolate by copy'. They do not have strategic thinking, but if someone else teaches them their experience or they can plug in own experience they can reliably see 'if I do that bad things happen'. This is completely enough to get by if others draw the big strategic lines that think several steps ahead. But as a larger 'arc' around that story: we need to stop building our society around those 'bottom of barrel' IQ people. You genuinely cannot help them. They lack the most basic cognitive abilities to turn what they see and experience into a thought of what that even means. That is sad from a human perspective. But as other smart people have already concluded: You - genuinely - cannot fix stupid. You just cannot. In those extreme cases like described below: Give her as much dignity as still possible - and just give her more cake. It's not gonna make a difference.

@Freiheitsliebe5 is halt gerade beim 5 schon teuer für was es ist. Man kratzt da halt oft an Model 3 standard Preisen. Das ist das Hauptproblem. Ansonsten für Klein/Kleinstwagen nix zu meckern.

Ich muss dem Renault Design-Department wirklich lassen, dass sie gerade mächtig am kochen sind. Das erwarte ich von coolen, urbanen Klein- und Kleinstwagen. Und das sind auch retro-Anleihen die einfach cool gemacht sind.

Das Wilde ist ja: Man hat das quasi implizit schon so erwartet, dass der Aufschrei viel kleiner ist als nötig. Normalerweise müsste so ein Bericht sofort die Republik derart aufrucken, dass es die Regierung via Misstrauensvotum zerlegt. Es sind früher Leute für deutlich weniger aus dem Amt geflogen. Zumindest ein Finanzminister kann nach solchen Berichten eigentlich nicht im Amt bleiben. Außerhalb von Staatshaushalten nennt man sowas Veruntreuung. Ich extrapoliere: Es passiert nichts, weil man es als die neue Realität anerkennt.

Anyway i am here (on x) for it In my past i changed from electronics design to software and later exploited the fact that my competitors didn’t cover the grey zone in between, but the world you work in 25-30 years later in time looks pretty wild to me 😊

thanks for the flowers, but I also think I have a narrower window where I am really good. Things that actually help in engineering: yes, I'm probably up there. On the other hand: I'm absolutely terrible at doing Math in my head. And certain things never clicked with me, I would be a terrible mechanical engineer for example. What I'm truly good at is narrowing down paths and behaviors from very complex systems and reason about them simply despite the complexity. This of course lends itself very well to digital design where you basically have millions or billions of logic gates dancing the dance and if something is wrong you need to figure out where to start.

I must protest there When i read your takes on an extremely wide range of subjects that can not be explained by just experience in many things That one knife in the drawer must be extremely sharp 😉 My last iq test was prehistoric (1986) and in the range where you see yourself but you are sandbagging there 😊
