Kayla is the most accomplished American female in the history of Judo. Ronda isn't even close even with her Olympic bronze. Ronda wouldn't just effortlessly armbar her at will if they fought. Kayla's grappling is better and she's much bigger & stronger. All this really shows is a complete lack of class. It'd be one thing to cut this promo if she was still on her run as champion, etc - but after those last two fights... just absurd to talk this way. Kayla has been classy and professional in her interviews. She doesn't need to hype her fight up and probably doesn't care to. She just does business and acts like a pro. Even in her statement about being ok walking away from the sport if she can't keep making 135 or whatever... it wasn't in any mean spirited tone. She just seems like ok, well, there's more to life than this and knows she would probably have a successful career in whatever she did. Ronda needs to grow up.

@HappyPunch Kayla Harrison is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, judo world champion, two-time PFL champion, and now a UFC champion. Ronda Rousey is an Olympic bronze medalist and former UFC champion, coming off two knockouts. The resume is not comparable.

Ronda Rousey just LOST IT on UFC champion Kayla Harrison 😳 “The only reason she has a job is because of me. She has the charisma of a wet towel. The b*tch isn’t even bigger than Paddy the Baddy. Why is she getting paid less now than I was 10 years ago? Riddle me this b*tch.”

Pro wrestling summed up in 60 frames. Ron Simmons creates anticipation by priming his fist, punches Sam Cody, then sells his hand to show consequence. It's all a variation on that.

Predator is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s best film. It totally holds up after almost 30 years. With Commando of course coming a close second.

@emmasaurustex I've been finally watching all the V/H/S movies lately, there are some segments in those films that are absolutely unsettling and very well done.... some definite forgettable ones but a number of very solid gems

Does anyone have a found footage film they recommend that’s a bit more underrated? I’ve been on a found footage kick lately 😁

I have only seen 2 type of reviews of Scream 7: either its "amazing" or it's "the worst piece of shit ever". No middle ground

He was the perfect choice to establish Earthquake for his first guy to take his finish at Survivor Series in his debut, and then at Mania his first televised singles win of any real significance. We knew Herc was a big dude and Earthquake just treated him like he was one step above Duane Gill. I don't think he gets enough credit for making Earthquake and thus killing his own singles career for good, and then instantly getting over again in a heel tag team where you basically totally forgot he was ever a babyface instantly

@ovppodcast I don't blame Herc at all for being upset during this era. For years, he was used as the guy to establish new stars. Ultimate Warrior, he let Earthquake squash him multiple times. He & Roma were promised a big push, & he was lied to on many levels about many things.

2/23/92: One of Hercules’ last WWF matches He gets squashed by Sid and does a very casual powerbomb sell, getting up after the match and calmly leaving.

@npelley @ovppodcast Herc shouldn't have been anything more than he was, but he was always still over with the crowd to some extent in the role he was put in. He was perfectly fine in those roles, and you always need those guys in the company.

@ovppodcast Herc was an interesting case. Not big enough to be one of the "monsters" of the era. A better worker than many but also not good enough to be in the league of the best workers. Better as a heel for sure. Memorable but not unforgettable. Solid 7ish year run with WWF.

@elliottswrstlin The style clash could have been fascinating. I really would have liked to see what Bret could have done in the ring with him. Shawn vs Sabu would have been a lot of fun too, considering what Shawn and Foley did at that one PPV
