Is it an A+ move from the Cubs perspective- No. It’s depth move. Control can be fixed. So we will see. Unfortunately Owen wouldn’t get much playing time in Chicago anyways. It’s good for his career to be elsewhere. Once again after 3 games we can’t crown who’s good and who’s bad at this point in the season.

The cubs needed to make that trade. Outside of Horton starting pitching has been absolutely shelled. The Cubs needed pitching and they’d be way worse if they didn’t have Cabrera. With that said it’s awesome seeing Caissie shine. I’m sure the Mets are kicking themselves for trading PCA. Just part of baseball.
