A sad day in the Senate. For the first time in U.S. history, every Senate Democrat, led by Chuck Schumer, voted against starting debate on the overwhelmingly bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act. For Alaska, this is probably the best NDAA our state has ever seen: $2.6 billion in military construction and 4,000 private sector jobs.
