Lazy = I don’t want to do the thing. ADHD = I desperately WANT to do the thing, but I just can’t seem to START doing the thing.

Something my husband and I do every 6 months is what we like to call a “check in”. We have a face to face conversation to check and see whether or not we are meeting each other’s needs in communication, sex, emotional support, quality time, etc.

i have a handful of quality friendships. i don’t have a lot of friends by choice. i’m a pretty low maintenance friend but i have a lot of love & i give my all to the few i really want in my space. i don’t simply become friends w/ ppl bc we like each others vibe. it’s a choice.

being yourself is how you figure out who is genuinely for you. communicating is how you figure out who will listen to you. setting boundaries is how you figure out who will respect you. doing all of these things only strengthens you & ensures you have the right ppl in your life
