I'm currently studying the book of Mark and noticing that even though the Pharisees didn’t like Jesus, they always followed Him around, paying attention to everything He was doing or saying and ready to criticize Him. Nobody watches and criticizes you like people who don’t like you.

Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, Thank you for waking me up again. Today I pray for peace and calmness as I navigate the day. Remove any stress or tension from my body. Help me relax, let go, and surrender everything to you. Restore and heal me from all pain physically, emotionally, or mentally that I’ve been dealing with. Continue to work on me, Lord, and help me become calmer and more at peace. You’ve given us this week. How thankful we are for the Holy Spirit and Your precious word, which You use to lead us in the way we should go while giving us peace. Today I ask you to clear the fog of any mental confusion and give them clarity of mind. Break any bondage hindering their walk with You, and set them free from all fear and anxiety. Bless all Your people with Your peace today, Lord, as the Holy Spirit continues to lead our way. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

So today, I choose to place it all in Your hands: the stress I can’t shake, the thoughts that won’t slow down, and the fear of the unknown. Help me trust You with what I don’t understand, release the need to control every detail, and remember that You are already ahead of me, working things out in ways I can’t yet see. Thank You for bringing me this far and not leaving me in confusion. Today, I surrender every burden, every worry, and every unanswered question. Fill me with peace where there’s been anxiety, calm my heart, and quiet my mind. Teach me to truly let go and rest in knowing You’ve got me. Amen.
