10 years from now - it's 2027, we'll look back and say, how did the financial system not see all this coming?

@Brady_H Yeah - weird. Was the case that you knew that you had to beat the qualifying time to get an invitation if the quantity of potential qualifiers exceeded the slots available. That was the thing that pushed us to do the best time we could.

What an absolutely incredible game. Amazing come-back by France and then Sir Jude pulls it back from the brink. Now, haters - tell me this sport isn’t just the absolute greatest. I’ll wait.

I guess being available until July 19th was not true @AnthropicAI ?? Massive mistake but if you don't have enough compute I guess what can you do.. Infra is a competitive advantage. Who would have thought.

As controversy rages about yesterday’s World Cup officiating, coaching, and the banner, we get this from Number 10: “The Prime Minister wishes both teams well in the final, particularly Spain." A masterclass in classic, dry British humor and typical understatement from Downing Street. #worldcup #england @FIFAWorldCup #spain

@RakeshSFNYC @ebyjoseandres Rakesh, I respect you (and it's been years since I've been to ST); one cannot have "too much Japanese influence" in culinary presentation! It's a logical impossibility. Agree with French Laundry being overrated.

My notes: SF: Californios. French Laundry overrated. Single Thread has too much Japanese influence. NYC: EMP*. Per Se. London: Sketch. * They changed concept entirely since my visit. Per Se for sure. Better than all of these, best meal I've ever had: @ebyjoseandres in Las Vegas. (There is currently no Michelin guide for Vegas.) 2* but excellent: Blue Hill at Stone Barns, NY area.

TIL the Bay Area has 44% (7/16) of the Michelin 3 starred restaurants in the US New York has 5, LA has 2

Gabriel Clarke’s two interviews with Thomas Tuchel and Jude Bellingham were dreadful. Tuchel was very clear in his praise for England’s strength of character but he wasn’t happy with the performance. Clarke failed to understand Tuchel’s mentality comments. He then gave a misleading follow up to Bellingham which suggested to Bellingham that Tuchel was unhappy with the team. Unnecessarily disruptive and the wrong context of interviewing in two separate interviews. #EngvNor

Can't blame VAR for this one. Egypt got their goal back. The first goal they took shook them psychologically, and Argentina smelled blood. If the game had continued for another 30 minutes, would have been 5-2 for Argentina.

Moral victories are bullshit but I can’t think of a team that should hold their head higher than Cape Verde. That was incredible.
