@JackStanley86 @v11_eed Howe also likes to bed players in, most don’t make an impact in the initial 3 months after signing. Even if we went big on a player, we seem to have a settled 11 and Howe would be unlikely to change that. Squad depth is concerning though, especially any long term injuries.

@v11_eed It’s a risk absolutely no question about that. But I think they’re preparing for the summer and for the long-term. We’ve put ourselves in a strong position for Champions League but I’m not sure it was planned for. Some form of Europe yes.

#nufc are choosing not to spend this month to be in a strong position by July. It’s a short-term risk but it’s a decision for the long-term rather than the next four months. As frustrating as it is, it’s the responsible way to operate.
