The best thing about AI has been following my curiosity, then applying that knowledge to things I would have never dreamed of even trying. Smol e.g. I'm playing with a directional blur shader. It emulates a camera shutter by smearing each pixel along the distance it travelled.

I don't think all my post quite hit the mark of what I consider a good content 😅 I have avoided social media for most of my life and while there are a lot of shit content out there.. I also see some really good ones too and have found many people like you who's content I love 🥰 Not sure what my point is here 😅

The bike trip this weekend "broke me" in an unexpected way. I've lost the will to post things. I've been scrolling a bit in the past two days and got to the conclusion that 95% of the "content" I see is not really interesting to me. I mean - we ( humans ) are collectively creating way too much content. And when I thought about this deeper - content = trash/filth/garbage I mean that there's so many people spending so much time thinking about what to post just to stay visible/relevant. We've also repeatedly, independently came to the same conclusions that "viral" posts are still pretty much random and not really related to the quality of the information. On the contrary - deeper, well thought posts ( like this ) usually perform way worse than just random stupid slop. Effectively important things get buried under the enormous piles of crap. That's pretty much why the idea of windma.marcindudek.dev resonates so strongly with me: Quality > Quantity This is also related to the new algorithm on X - it may be stupid, but for me, the thought that some of you would just see my random replies to the posts that I suspect might get popular ( yielding me impressions ) is quite appalling. To sum up - I'm not disappearing, but expect to see less of my rambling everywhere. I just don't want to be part of the problem I saw. Ps. Please don't take it personally, it's a generic thought about the state of the world and my POV only.

Love the idea of this app! Personally think a more "serious" version would also do well - just a clean looking app with a cumulative walking goal and how you compare to that line Also, duels could be fun! Compete against someone, and the first person to end a week +10k steps on the other person "wins"

@MartinTale @marclou Hey! I know the inspiration for this game. 🤫 I've seen the instagram reel. 👀 There's this lady talking about this silly story. It's a random "viral" reel but she literally talks about a snail coming for you and asks the viewers what they would do or something.
