@SkinnerPm I think you’re right in this thread, but, assuming the case is dismissed on these grounds, doesn’t that show the system works? (As an aside as a retired FBI agent, Comey has done generational damage to our reputation. He still deserves due process, but I’m not a fan).

Studying for 1st Amendment final is a great way to see how pathetic and, yes, unconstitutional this administration’s charging Comey for his alleged “threat”. Counterman c. Colorado, Elonis v. US, Watts v. US, US v. Syring. All demolish this current case. It is indeed pathetic

@mapleblooded I appreciate your post, and I think this was really good from the Buffalo fans. But I’d also say, as a Rangers’ fan, I’ve seen games in five Canadian cities over the last two seasons. Have never been treated with anything but courtesy, respect and kindness.

The subject who threatened Ms. Wilkins (and has since been charged) admitted he did it after reading Elizabeth Williamson’s NYT article. It’s all right here in a public affidavit, if they bothered to read it. The ensuing questions surrounding the reporter were part of this death threat case - not a media investigation as NYT is representing it.

NEW and BREAKING: The FBI began investigating New York Times reporter Elizabeth Williamson earlier this year after she published a story about how Kash Patel was using FBI personnel to provide his girlfriend with govt security and transportation.
