Great article by @martynpercy For me, The Archbishop of Canterbury's phrasing of "an even safer Church" is pure window-dressing and show-bottling religion. It was very hurtful erasure of @ChurchofEngland victims while ignoring the risk. Safeguarding is protecting the institution.
