We have received some surprising information about Zvikomborero Maria Makedenge (33), who is currently accused of forcing herself on a 16-year-old young man in Glen View. Zvikomborero is the niece of Crispen Makedenge, a retired Assistant Commissioner of the ZRP who was in charge of Law and Order in Harare. Crispen reportedly raised Zvikomborero and her sister, even supporting them until they moved to the United States. According to our source who knew her before she left Zimbabwe, Zvikomborero was in trouble with the law for similar offense. Our source believes she has a pattern of being attracted to younger men. They claim that about two or three years ago, when she was around 30, she was dating a 19-year-old. In the latest incident, Zvikomborero visited her boyfriend at a house he was renting in Glen View. On 2 August 2025, she was reportedly alone with the 16-year-old complainant. It is alleged that she followed him to his room and had unprotected sexuaI intercourse with him without his consent. She is said to have told him not to tell anyone and allegedly promised to take him to the United States, where she is employed. However, the complainant later told his sister, who then informed their mother. The mother reported the matter at Mbare Police Station, which led to Zvikomborero’s arrest.
