One thing that gets me is how insanely optimistic the average organised leftist is about their organisation, very jarring. I know this is because people who aren't optimistic tend not to organise but I am sort of taken aback by comrades who think there'll be a revolution soon.

Dogmatism comes when you hold theoretical frameworks in a transcendental manner that goes beyond reason and stops it from being criticized or deconstructed. The original tweet doesn't do that.
