No idea how he projects though as the focal point on a bad team cuz he is really small and slow. You’d have to be so great on offense to cover those flaws up as a 1/2.

I did a film show on him earlier in the draft season before I realized he had the off-field issues. I doubt the 49ers have him in their top-90 because of that.

i was a big matos fan throughout his development in the minors, but he was given nearly 600 PAs across three seasons to figure it out and couldn’t

Simply put, the last regime rushed Matos up and it absolutely ruined his development. Has all the tools in the world, just hasn’t been able to put it together in his limited opportunities. #SFGiants

@2MINIHULK There is no guarantee that any player is going to hit. Plus I think the Sharks development has gone pretty well. Fans are mad because they are too attached to certain players and see every critique as an attack.
