Coached a 10U game Saturday - opposing coach allowed his pitcher, who has very high velo for the age, to throw 84 pitches. Maybe the coach hasn’t had his eye on the WBC and how professionals were on PC’s. It was 42* out and incredibly windy. He went 2 2/3 and walked 7…. My friend @devenmorgan | @DrivelineBB - we need universal pitch count guidelines to protect these kids

topic for the YB bummer power hour: how to identify when a team is ready to “play up”? And what happens when it’s painfully obvious the team cant compete at that level? Coaches are force feeding kids and parents the ONLY way to improve is to play the best teams. @devenmorgan

Jac Caglianone today: 120.2 MPH Only 2 balls were hit harder in MLB all of last season.

We are heartbroken to share news of the passing of Joey Raccuia. Joey's impact on our team, this community and all the lives he touched went far beyond the playing field, and we miss him deeply.

It was really cool. I was at the @CofCBaseball bus arrival last night after the Cougs beat Coastal for the 3rd straight time. Much of the talk from the ballclub, about different history. GM @SamGjormand - a female in uniform, on field, coaching first base for the first time. So well respected in the game. This, another step in her journey. We chatted about it.

@devenmorgan The solution? parents being responsible

The next frontier for Banana Ball. Youth sports has its challenges. It’s expensive, overly competitive and often inconvenient for families. It will take a lot of work to create something that is new and different. But we are ready for the challenge.
