There is no specific biological characteristic, nor set of characteristics, including genital structures, reproductive organs, or chromosomal arrangement, that can adequately answer this question.

Лол, немецкие феминитивы в учебнике и в гугл переводчике переводятся в мужской род, даже те, которые уже устоялись в русском - например die Journalistin = "журналист". Хотя в женском роде было бы более обучающе хотя б. Феминитивы это очень страшно, они нападут на вас ночью.

The thing is, if you're not depicting "the outcast" as being a pariah for unfair reasons (being fat, autistic, poor, non-white, queer, mentally ill, etc) then it just comes off like they're an outcast because they're an asshole who thinks they're better than everyone else
